Our Design Process

Due to the wide range of projects we design, our process changes quite a bit. But here is a general approach to how we do things.

First, we try to get all the details of a project in order to give an accurate estimate. We try to be clear upfront about pricing and a time frame, from start to completion of the proposed project.

All our design work is original (unless a template was specifically requested) and we love examples from our clients of their favorite looks or color schemes or ideas. This helps us understand what our client is looking for and to really tailor a design for them.

Once all the details have been worked out, Jill will start off with the design/graphic work. She will typically proof things via email with PDF’s or JPG’s. You will work one-on-one with Jill until all graphics have been finalized. For print work, Jill will assist with getting files to vendors and with the printing process. We require payment before our clients receive final high-resolution files.

For web design, once the graphics are approved, Jill passes the files to Aaron for coding. Aaron will work one-on-one with the customer throughout the rest of the process. Aaron typically will develop sites on our Flyeye Design’s development site for proofing purposes. Once the client approves the site, Aaron will move the files to the client’s host and get the site up and running. We require payment before moving the final files to the client’s site.

We do not host sites for our clients, but we can make some very affordable recommendations and assist in the process of buying a domain.

We can assist with updates, edits, and maintenance after the launch, but that is an additional fee, beyond the project’s original estimate.

At this time Flyeye Design can accept PayPal and checks through the mail.

We are still putting together final contracts and hope to have them here soon.
